"Intimate Courtyards"
Two uniquely different courtyard areas, separated by a see through stone fireplace, demonstrate how large outdoor entertaining areas can be created within a limited space.
The "Court Yard" highlighted by the circular patio, demonstrates flexibility when utilizing concrete pavers. With almost unlimited shapes, sizes, patterns and colors they allow for an added design element and focal point within the entertaining area. The raised planters provide an intimate gardening area as well as additional seating within the patio.
The "Outdoor Room" expresses an open-air addition, extending your homes entertaining area. The large pots and planters allow for vertical plants to add textures, colors and privacy in small places; along with the built in Bar-B-Que and large "Pergola" it creates an enclosed feeling while still enjoying your open garden space.

"Bridge the Gap"
How to make natural and formal garden harmonize with one another is demonstrated through this design. Hand-selected boulders and driftwood are what make the natural style water feature a stunning focal point. Its two dramatic falls cascade down into the formal area. Dual circular paver patios offer a great opportunity to socialize or recreate with a sitting wall/bench and fire pit. A Unique bridge in brick arches over the stream linking the patios together, hence bridging the gap between design styles. Colorful perennial beds along with diverse shrubs and conifers of various textures complete this timeless garden creation.

"The Runnel Spirit"
Water is a source of energy, and through its path we are able to tell a story. "The Runnel Spirit" is a garden connected by the flow of water, bringing you through spaces of contemplation, relaxation, play, and community. It is the spine of this garden and its path creates movement, sound, and reflection. The runnel is simplistic in form, and it is of utmost importance to the structure of this garden. It is a prime example of how a unique detail can add the necessary depth and drama to make a garden unique and one of a kind

"The Patio"
The Garden is an outdoor room that shows how the use of structural color adds interest and beauty to our outdoor environments. Throughout the garden there are containers and sculptural features by area artists that are beautiful and functional. With as much gray dreary weather as we have in the Northwest here are some ways to brighten up your view and add some unique functional structure to your patio or deck.

"Back from the Future"
The garden encompasses all aspects of each individual lifestyle we have created for ourselves.
From our roots of gardening out of necessity, for food production, the modern garden has evolved into an outdoor living space that is a reaction to our world of fast changing landscapes. We have defined the space to give a sense of privacy. We have included the sound of water for the need for serenity and the use of fire as a place to gather and reflect.
In the present and future of our outdoor living spaces, we see the need to lessen the effects of water, energy and use of waste on our environment. As stewards of the landscape we incorporate land management practices that meet present needs without compromising those future generations.

"A Summer Pavilion"
From the rustic timbers, comfortable furnishing, lush plantings and sounds of cascading water our "Summer Pavilion" is a place you will want to enjoy for all Season's.
Visit our Pavilion Garden where destinations invite you to explore. Walk the looping path around the pond or spy a fragrant border behind the house. The Garden highlights the use of White from the sweet fragrance of 'Mock Orange' in the spring, to the stark beauty of 'Snowberry' in the fall. The impact of white is demonstrated in old favorites like 'Lilly of the Valley' to the new Hybrid Azalea 'Autumn Angel' with its pure white blossoms that appear iridescent in the morning light.
Winter, Spring, Summer and Fall...our Pavilion has something to be enjoyed by all.
